PRESIDENT- Gary Patalsky co-founded KPI in 2004 and serves as its President.  Gary was a member of the initial development team of IBM WebSphere (at Transarc / IBM), helping to bring WebSphere versions 3.0.2, 3.5, and 4.0 to market.  He brings eleven years of experience in distributed enterprise computing to KPI, helping take several market leading enterprise applications to market.


        Prior to KPI, Gary was a principal member of Laminar Software, where he helped architect, design, and implement the first generation of J2EE monitoring solutions. After Quest Software acquired Laminar, Gary helped take Laminar's technology to market as Quest Spotlight on WebLogic, Spotlight on WebSphere, Foglight on WebLogic, and Foglight on WebSphere.


        He now brings his expertise in J2EE, SOA, and software methodology to major corporations and government agencies building important new SOA and J2EE systems.


        Gary is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S.in Mathematics/Computer Science and a M.S. in Software Engineering, a program held in conjunction with the Software Engineering Institute.
